Happy rainy Friday everyone!
In celebration of Tsukimi or Otsukimi, a festival honoring the autumn moon, our teacher explained the different phases of moon.
With a little story telling we are able to understand the moon-viewing festival.
In order to celebrate the beauty of the moon, some are eating rice dumplings called Tsukimi dango.
Here we are trying to make a tsukimi dango for decoration.
Having fun rolling the mixture on our palms.
Happy with their works.
That's all for today.
Thank you and have a nice day!
